Dogworld Theme Installation

There are two methods for uploading a theme to a WordPress site: through the Admin panel and via FTP. The preferred method is using the Admin panel and this section guides us on the process

Step 1 : Upload Theme Via Admin Panel

Find the Dogworld.zip file and log in to your WordPress Dashboard. Navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New >

Upload, select the dogworld.zip file, and click "Install Now."

After the theme is uploaded, go to Appearance > Themes to activate it

Step 2 : Install Required Plugins

The Dogworld Theme requires 7 Plugins, These plugins need to be installed and activated. Step 2 : Install Required Plugins

Step 3 : Import Demo Content

This theme uses Elementor Pro Theme builder feature for majority of its design and functionality. For us to proceed we have to import all demo content which includes Theme builder templates and Demo content

Step 4 : Initialize Elementor Theme builder Templates

After a successful demo import, It is important to initialize Elementor header conditions by clicking on your chosen header within the theme builder interface. Select your chosen header then click on edit conditions

Ensure conditions is set to entire site, then click on save and close

Step 5 : Upload custom theme Icons

Due to Elementor's Icon handling process, a manual reupload of theme icons is needed.

Navigate to Elementor > Custom Icons

Delete Both icons by selecting and moving to trash. Also Ensure you empty trash

Click on Add New

Within your downloaded file, Look for the Assets Folder, then select Theme Icons Folder. Upload one icon Zip file at a time. In the screenshot below, the demologo zip file has been uploaded

Step 6 : Import Elementor Site Settings

Since this theme relies on Elementor for theme options, you need to import the global site settings using the Elementor import kit feature. To do this, go to Elementor > Tools > Import / Export Kit

Within your downloaded file, go to the demo folder, open the folder of the demo you imported then select the site settings and import
