This documentation will guide you through the process of using and editing the Elementor Theme Builder templates included in the theme. The Dogworld theme comes with easy to use templates that power up your site design, example of these templates includes the header template, footer template, blog posts archive, Products archive, single post, single dog post, and many more
The header template controls the top section of your website, including the logo, navigation menu, and any other elements you wish to display.
Navigate to Templates:
Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
Click on Templates > Theme Builder.
Edit Header:
In the Theme Builder, locate the Header template.
Click Edit with Elementor.
Customize Header:
Use Elementor's drag-and-drop interface to add, remove, or edit elements.
You can change the logo, adjust the navigation menu, add social media icons, and more
Save Changes:
Once you're happy with the changes, click the Update button to save.
The footer template is the bottom section of your website, typically containing contact information, social media links, and other important links.
Navigate to Footer Template:
Go to Templates > Theme Builder.
Locate the Footer template.
Edit Footer:
Click Edit with Elementor.
Customize Footer:
Use the Elementor interface to make your changes.
Add widgets, adjust styles, and ensure it matches the rest of your site.
Save Changes:
Click Update to save your customizations.
The Blog Posts Archive template controls the layout and design of your blog posts listing page.
Navigate to Blog Posts Archive Template:
Go to Templates > Theme Builder.
Find the Blog Posts Archive template.
Edit Blog Posts Archive:
Click Edit with Elementor.
Customize Archive Layout:
Modify the layout, typography, and style of your blog posts archive.
You can add filters, adjust post previews, and more.
Save Changes:
Click Update to save your modifications.
The Products Archive template is used for displaying your WooCommerce products in a grid or list format.
Navigate to Products Archive Template:
Go to Templates > Theme Builder.
Locate the Products Archive template.
Edit Products Archive:
Click Edit with Elementor.
Customize Products Layout:
Adjust the product grid, add filters, and customize the product display.
Save Changes:
Click Update to save your changes.
The Dogworld theme comes with a Dogs custom post type which enables users to add Dogs, categorize them into breeds, list dogs and also indicate whether a dog is for sale or not.
Navigate to Dog Single Post Template:
Go to Templates > Theme Builder.
Find Dog single post twmplate
Edit Dog Single Post Template:
Click Edit with Elementor.
Customize Layout:
Modify the layout and style to suit your needs.
Add custom fields, adjust post meta, and more.
Save Changes:
Click Update to save your customizations.
If you encounter any issues while editing your templates, here are some common solutions:
Clear Cache: Sometimes, changes might not appear immediately. Clear your browser cache and Elementor cache.
Check Elementor Settings: Ensure all Elementor settings are configured correctly.
Disable Conflicting Plugins: Deactivate plugins that might conflict with Elementor and try again.
