Dogworld theme includes several saved templates that act as global reusable widgets. This documentation will guide you through the process of accessing, editing, and managing these saved templates to maintain a consistent look and feel across your website
Saved templates in Elementor can be accessed from the WordPress Dashboard.
Navigate to Templates:
Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
Click on Templates > Saved Templates.
View Saved Templates:
You will see a list of all the saved templates with their respective shortcodes
Editing a saved template allows you to update its design and content, which will automatically reflect wherever the template is used on your site.
Select a Template to Edit:
In the list of saved templates, find the template you want to edit.
Hover over the template and click Edit with Elementor.
Customize the Template:
Use Elementor’s drag-and-drop interface to make changes to the template.
You can add, remove, or modify elements as needed.
Save Changes:
Once you're satisfied with the changes, click the Update button to save.
These changes will now be reflected wherever this saved template is used on your site.
You can easily insert a saved template into any page or post using Elementor.
Edit the Page with Elementor:
Navigate to the page or post where you want to insert the saved template.
Click Edit with Elementor.
Insert Saved Template:
Click on the Add Template icon in the Elementor editor.
Go to the My Templates tab.
Locate the saved template you want to insert and click Insert.
Position and Customize:
Once inserted, you can adjust the position of the template within your page.
You can also make additional tweaks to fit the specific context of the page.
You can manage your saved templates by renaming, duplicating, or deleting them.
Rename a Template:
In the Saved Templates section, click on the template you wish to rename.
Click on the Rename option and enter the new name.
Delete a Template:
To delete a template, hover over it and click Delete.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Consistent Naming: Use consistent and descriptive names for your templates to make them easy to identify.
Regular Updates: Regularly update your templates to ensure they match your site's evolving design and content needs.
Global Widgets: Consider converting frequently used templates into global widgets for easier management.
Elementor pop-ups are versatile tools for displaying important messages, subscription forms, promotions, and more on your website. This guide will walk you through the process of editing and configuring pop-ups in the Dogworld theme.
To access and edit pop-ups in Elementor, follow these steps:
Navigate to Templates:
Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
Click on Templates > Pop-ups.
View Existing Pop-ups:
You will see a list of all the pop-ups imported. The Dogworld theme comes with two Pop Ups which are the email list and Hamburger Pop Up
To edit an existing pop-up, follow these steps:
Select a Pop-up to Edit:
In the list of pop-ups, find the one you want to edit.
Hover over the pop-up and click Edit with Elementor.
Customize the Pop-up:
Use Elementor’s drag-and-drop interface to make changes to the pop-up.
Add or modify elements like text, images, buttons, forms, and more.
Style the Pop-up:
Adjust the style settings, such as background, typography, borders, and animations.
Elementor allows you to configure various settings for your pop-up to control its appearance and behavior.
Open Pop-up Settings:
Click on the Settings icon at the bottom left of the Elementor panel.
Adjust Layout Settings:
Set the width, height, and position of the pop-up.
Choose between various layout options like full-screen, centered, or custom.
Set Entrance Animation:
Choose an entrance animation for your pop-up to make it more engaging.
Close Button and Overlay:
Customize the close button and overlay options to match your site's design.
Define when and where your pop-up should appear using display conditions, triggers, and advanced rules.
Set Display Conditions:
Click on the Display Conditions tab.
Choose where you want the pop-up to appear (e.g., entire site, specific pages, posts, etc.)
Configure Trigger
Click on the Triggers tab.
Set triggers such as on page load, on scroll, on click, after inactivity, and more.
Advanced Rules:
Click on the Advanced Rules tab.
Define advanced rules like showing after X page views, after X sessions, or for logged-in users only.
After editing and configuring your pop-up, save and publish it to make it live on your site.
Save Changes:
Click the Save button in the Elementor panel.
Publish Pop-up:
Click the Publish button to make your pop-up live.
If you encounter issues with your saved templates or pop up, try the following solutions:
Clear Cache: Clear your browser and Elementor cache to ensure changes are visible.
Check Template Overrides: Ensure no other templates are overriding your changes.
Update Plugins: Make sure Elementor and other plugins are up to date.
